NATIONAL CADET CORPS (NCC)
Upholding the aims of the National Cadet Corps i.e., to develop character, commandership, discipline leadership, secular outlook, and spirit of adventure and the ideals of selfless service amongst the youth of the country. The NCC Unit of JCW devotedly trains the Cadets to imbibe and be a responsible citizen of the country. The NCC at JCW traces back to the very year of the institution, which was founded in the year 2010 which comes under I Kar Girls Bn NCC , Bengaluru a group, Karnataka and Goa Directorate. The activities of NCC at JCW are guided by certain core values that we endeavor to instill among the Cadets.

Motto
"Unity and Discipline" as motto for the NCC was taken in the 12th CAC meeting held on 12 October, 1980.

Regular Activities Conducted :
- Institutional Training : Cadets are trained for B and C certificate examination. Cadets have weekly Parade which includes include training in drill, map reading, weapon training, obstacle training, Field craft, Battle craft, Armed Force and First Aid etc. Regular Classes are taken on National Integration, Field craft and Battle craft, First Aid, Health and Hygiene, Personality Development, Disaster Management etc.
Cadets are Involved in various activities as insisted by NCC unit and college NCC wing such as.
- Social Awareness and Community Development Activities : Village adoption ,Visit to orphanage/Old age home, Planting saplings, Awareness programs on importance of Environment and saving energy, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan ,Beti Bachao Beti Padao Abhiyan , Health related Awareness Activity, Anti Drug and Trafficking Awareness, Anti Liquor Rally, Traffic Rules Awareness, say No plastic Awareness etc.
- National Festivals : Independence Day, Republic Day, Vijay Divas, Constitutional Day, NCC Day, Gandhi Jayanthi , Vivekananda Jayanthi etc.
- Adventure Activity: College NCC wing encourages the cadets to develop Adventure spirit and confidence to face difficult situation in their life . Cadets are taken on Adventure training activity to Shivagange hills, Tumkur, Madugiri Hills, Savandurga ,Magadi and Antharagange ,Kolar etc.
- Attending Seminars : Cadets are motivated to attend Seminars and Conferences.
